I was rewarded today with a glorious sun shiny day as I traveled to Mechanicsburg, PA for my quarterly meeting with MATBA.
The Mid Atlantic Tea Business Association is a great group of tea entrepreneurs. The members range from tearoom owners to tea speakers to the publisher of the Tea House Times. ( I've learned a great deal from them and hope that in some small way have given back to them. ) Today's meeting was held at the Sweet Remembrances Tea Room and much of our tasty treats were grown in the culinary garden which is kept by the Herbalist from The Rosemary House next door. The two owners are sisters by blood and by passions. I do so admire all that they have accomplished and enjoy their company-not to mention their tea sandwiches! :)
I was too busy with table conversation to take pictures, but believe me when I say that the presentation was just as scrumptious as the treats. We then were taken out for a tour of the gardens and to my delight found a couple of fun additions.
What a fun way to use your chipped teapots!
This has always been a dream of mine! To sit and sip tea in a teacup ride, when it's NOT spinning!
I had such a wonderful day and highly recommend this stop to enjoy Afternoon Tea and a stroll thru the garden!
